Forensic Behavioral Science
Dr. Mather has experience lending his specialized knowledge to assist law enforcement. He has published peer-reviewed research on forensic psychology, child abductions and child homicides. He served as the program coordinator for the M.A. in forensic psychology degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. This one-of-a-kind graduate degree program combined teaching and research in experimental psychology with the traditional training at the world class Forensic Science Institute to create a unique set of skills in its graduates. He served on the Council on Forensic Science Education at the Forensic Science Institute and served on the university’s Felony Review Board. He has worked in the psychology department of a maximum security correctional facility and provided data consultation to a 911 Communication Center. He has served as an expert witness for multiple cases. He attended the Citizens Police Academy with the Edmond Police Department in Oklahoma.
